after a expanded research in the architeture module about berlin with the theme “copy”, we comparised donuts to berliner pfannkuchen. these two dishes are almost the same, the biggest diffrence is, that where one has a hole, the other has a filling. so we translated this into a game mechanic:
discover a hidden world through the imagination of ilia juvens, a young boy who moved to a new place and is suffering from the loneliness of the foreign place. see what he thinks of and guide him through the new environment.
this game brought a variety of challenges, working with shaders, layering two worlds in the same scene and creating a smooth game loop.
