solarpunk, we created a forgotten world, where a lonely robot is searching for a specific bird, collecting songs on its way. i was in charge of the art and designed the robot and birds. i also created the level with the unity terrain editor, guiding the player on the main path, while offering them many hidden paths for backtracking and creating attractive spaces, to enhance the curiosity of the manuela widmer a deadly gambling game, originating from a game jam, and being continued until a full release on steam. i was in charge of the art; i modeled and textured the items, keepsakes and gaspar and manuela widmeras the final project for the making games course at itu, we created a roguelike game with a mix of 3d art and pixel graphics. in the walpurgis you play as fasling, a magical pest exterminator, who gets teleported to the top of a mansion infested with creatures from german folklore. fasling needs to fight their way back out using their salt maracas and weapons they find in tram through a hazy city. have deep conversations with souls of deceased people, so called «echoes», over their lost lifes and discover tuulis own past. nebellinien is a narrative map puzzler, which plays in the interior of a tram and focuses on dialogue and riddles. the mythical atmosphere and the personal stories should put the players in a nostalgic mood. the game has a multilayered structure - engaging dialogues meet a realistic 3d room with a detailed, interactive map, with a focus to combine these fluently. the players can move freely inside the tram to hold conversations with the berlin with the theme “copy”, we comparised donuts to berliner pfannkuchen. these two dishes are almost the same, the biggest diffrence is, that where one has a hole, the other has a filling. so we translated this into a game mechanic: discover a hidden world through the imagination of ilia juvens, a young boy who moved to a new place and is suffering from the loneliness of the foreign place. see what he thinks of and guide him through the new environment. this game brought a variety of challenges, working with shaders, layering two worlds in the same scene and creating a smooth game loop.
